On Thursday night at 8:09pm, Bergen Doula welcomed a special little 8lb 4oz man to the family! After a little bit of coaxing, a lot of story-telling, laughing and well thought out decision making, Mama willed herself to open, release and help this sweetheart arrive safely. Dad consistently and lovingly supported as the events unfolded before his eyes...no words needed as the tears told it all. Big sister anxiously awaited the news at home while keeping company with the family fur babies. When the call finally came, this family of 4 was made whole. Welcome to the world handsome Little Man and congrats to the whole family. Wishing you all much health, joy, success, peace, love and happiness. A mama on a mission completed her task this morning at 11:38am and Bergen Doula has yet another fabulous tiny human in the family! A little earlier than expected, the spectacular and magnificient Baby B arrived today with a smile on his face! Calm, cool and collected, Mama and Dad worked around every obstacle along the way. All well thought out decisions were made and, at the end of the day, this 7lb 7oz baby boy came down and out effortlessly, smoothly and magically. The strength, determination and power of love...this mama and dad exuded it all and this little guy showed it! Welcome to the family sweet Baby B and Happy Birth Day! At the wee hour of 2:11am yesterday morning, Bergen Doula helped a special family welcome their newest member, the beautiful & debonair Baby K. While Dad was on a 9 1/2 hour flight to NJ, Mama labored surrounded by the love of family. Her body was so strong and her mind even stronger. She was supported by the touch of her mother, the tranquility of water, the love of her father, the presence of her all-knowing Babcia, and the comfort of her sister's hands. Magically, all the stars aligned. Dad walked in the door (tears!) and Baby K made his appearance shortly thereafter at a healthy and perfect 8lbs! You couldn't make this stuff up - incredible! Welcome to NJ Dad - we're so glad you're here! Happy birthday sweet Baby K and congrats to everyone! A birth announcement of a special kind...
Yesterday, at 12:11pm, a 2nd time warrior mama gave birth to her beautiful and robust 9lb 10oz baby boy on her own terms. With her fabulous prenatal/birth team in place (which included husband, parents, nurse midwife, doula, chiropractor, PT), she was ready to take on the world! The stairs, the tub, the foam roller...she worked her way through every wave and slayed each one of them. 2 hours after getting to the hospital, "Baby F" entered the world in a calm, cool and collected manner after only 5 minutes of pushing. This mama remained intact and was up and about minutes later....she showed Princess Kate how it's done alright! Big brother was so excited to meet this little big guy - it was love at 1st sight!

The 3rd in the Raining Babies trilogy from last week...sharing our joy with huge news from this past Saturday morning. Labor snuck up on this 1st time mama like no one's business and at 1:15am, the awesome 8lb 3oz "Baby A" came into the world. This mama was in early labor 1 minute and then having consistent, intense contractions the next...talk about unexpected progress! This beauty came out in only 28 minutes! The incredible value of a PB&J on graham crackers was discovered and so was the ability to function sans sleep. So amazing to watch this special dad loving, respecting and supporting mama every step of the way. Baby A (aka The Giraffe) has been showing off his strong neck skills since the moment he was born. We are thrilled to have Baby A here - a big congrats to the whole family! Sending wishes to everyone for a lifetime filled with much health, joy, contentment, success, peace, love and happiness.
